Timeline for the Episcopal Search Process

September 25, 2006	Completion of Summary of Profile with distribution to various bodies around the Church. Announcement that bishop search process has begun seeking submission of names. Questionnaires sent upon receipt of names.
September 30, 2006	Posting Profile on website.
November 17, 2006	Close of period for submitting names. First screening of candidates begins.
November 30, 2006	First inclusion to “long-list” of candidates for interviews.
December 2006 - January 2007	Interviews
February, 2007	Second inclusion to “short-list” for candidates invited to meet with Search Committee.  Interviews. Start background checks.
March, 2007	Visits of candidates to meet with Search Committee.
April 1, 2007	Final selection with announcement of slate of 4-6 Nominees.
April 1-10, 2007	Petition nominations accepted by Standing Committee.
April-May, 2007	Background checks for petition nominees.
June 7-9, 2007	Presentation Tour of nominees  (Thursday, Friday and Saturday).
June 16, 2007	Electing Convention (Saturday)
