Commission on Children and Youth

This Commission has been charged by the Diocesan Council with developing the policy for Safe Churches.  It has been responsible for diocesan youth events.  When the Canon Educator left the diocese in 2005, the Standing Committee started looking at developing regional coordinators for youth events, with the hope that this may inspire more involvement by the youth and youth leaders on a regional basis.  Representatives from this Commission are working with the Conference Planning Team on the development of training and a training schedule for the diocese.
