What can I contribute to this particular body?
I believe I can contribute a sense of prayer and
discernment to this committee as well as an
understanding of the new Diocesan structure. I have
served on Council for the past two years and have led
councils and commissions in other dioceses. Being open
to God’s will, excitement about our new bishop, and a
sense of our diocese’s potential all lead me to want to
contribute in whatever way I can to its future success.

What major issues face the church today?
We need to bring the Gospel to the people. We
need to meet the people where they are and to be
aware of their needs. We need to practice a
radical hospitality that includes all and
welcomes all to Christ’s table. And we need to
reach out to the younger generations and to
include them in all our ministries – even and
especially the governing bodies of our diocese.
