Bishop Mary's Message February 8, 2008

Dear Friends,

As you know, The Lambeth Conference, a gathering of all Anglican bishops every ten years, is happening this summer. Of course, given the concerns in the communion, many are talking about this event and wondering what the outcome will be. It is important to remember that Lambeth is not a legislative tool in the Communion, but rather an important opportunity for community and faith building between Anglican partners. While there is a certain anxiety about Lambeth Conference, I must say, the schedule intrigues me, and I am honored to attend.
