The Standing Committee has appointed the Rev. Donna Ross as Communication Coordinator for the Diocese, serving in this interim period until the 3rd Bishop is called. We want you to understand the scope of her responsibilities. In her capacity as coordinator she will be responsible for:

Coordinating clear and consistent communication throughout the diocese, following the Communications Guidelines (posted at www.edecr.org)
Ensuring regular reports from Standing Committee, Council, Corporation, and the Administrator to the diocese
Ensuring there is spiritual guidance for the diocese through regular messages from the Canon for Evangelization and Congregational Development, Assisting Bishop, and the Monday Meditations
Gathering contributors for Monday Meditations
Serving on the Editorial Board of Along the King’s Highway
Serving as official communicator for DESC (Diocesan Evaluation and Structure Committee)
Working with the DCL’s (Diocesan Communications Liaisons) in each parish
Serving as main conduit for materials sent to the diocese and posted on the Web
Encouraging special groups/committees to make periodic reports to the diocese (i.e. General Convention deputies, Search/Transition Committee, Conference Planning team, etc.)
Serving as the main cheerleader for good communications within the diocese as we build our common life together

In this capacity she will work closely with the Editor of “Along the Kings Highway”, the Web Sacristan, and the Administrator. She will report directly to the Standing Committee.
